Deposits:

A puppy in considered "Available" until a deposit is received.  i require a $300 deposit to reserve a puppy of your choice.  this deposit is non-refundable unless the puppy becomes seriously ill or if it is a show/breeding prospect and develops a breed fault.  The balance is due when the puppy is 8 weeks old.  We do accept personal checks for deposits only.  When you pick up your puppy please bring cash.

We do NOT allow visitors to see the pups before 8 weeks of age.  This is for their safety.  Please do NOT bring your dog to our home. We do not mean to offend, but your dog may be carrying parasites, bacteria or a virus that our dogs have little resistance to.  Your dog will become nervous and excited and will relieve himself in an area we do not want our dogs to go.  They will continue to mark this spot for weeks as a strangers scent is there.  Your dog will be too nervous and excited to pay any attention to the puppies. So this is not a good indicator of if they will get along.  Proper introductions are best done in a quiet environemnt in a neutral area of your home.  Prett much any area except where your current dog eats sleeps and has his toy box.

 Shipping:

We do ship puppies in the lower 48 states.  Please inquire about Alaska or Canada, we do no other overseas shipping! The cost is $295  This price includes the carrier, USDA health certificate, flight and trip to the airport.  We do not book flights until we have been paid in full for the puppy and the shipping.  It may take hours on the phone to find a flight that works for both parties so it is important to know everything is a go before making arrangements.

We will not ship a puppy before we believe he or she is ready to make the trip safely.  Once you get your puppy take it straight home and offer feed and water.  Do not take the pup to show off to friends or to the local pet supply store.  Your new baby is tired and needs some quiet time to adjust to his or her new home.

Do e-mail or call me to let me know the puppy has made the trip safely.

 Frequently Asked Questions

How Big Will My Puppy Get?  There are many factors that determine adult size.  There are no guarantees only educated guesses!  I hve had pups charting 5 1/2 pounds mature under three so I no longer use puppy weight charts.  I go by the puppy's features and growth plates.  A pup with big feet and ears will usually grow into then while a fat pup with tiny feet and small bone structure will usually stay small.  Chihuahuas should be a very small dog!  A big cat is 16 pounds or more and a small cat is 9 pounds, so even a 5 to 6 pound Chihuahua is a very small dog!

How do you decide puppy prices?  Our prices may be more then bargain puppies you find in the newspaper.  You are probably not getting a bargain as many of these breeders have large dogs often 10 pounds or more, or dogs of poor type.  They may be registering their pups with an alternate registery such as APRI or CKC to avoid AKC's inspections for cleanliness and record keeping.  They may be cutting costs but not properly vaccinating their pups or providing proper care for their adults.  Our prices are in the reasonable range for a well bred pet puppy. Usually $600 to $900.  A show prospect pup is one we feel will be able to obtain and AKC Championship title.  We offer a 100% Satisfaction guarantee on Show dogs.  If the dog does not turn out to be what you are looking for as a show/breeding prospect AND you have not used him or her for breeding purposes, provide a copy of the spay/neuter agreement and we will replace the pup with a show prospect for pet price.
